Frankston City runs a hard waste service, and for some things it is the right answer. But it is booked out, it has rules about what goes on the nature strip, and it will not touch most garden waste at all. If you have a trailer load of hedge clippings, a dismantled deck or a garage that has not been emptied since you moved in, waiting is not much of a plan.

We do rubbish removal the direct way. We turn up, we load it, and it goes. You do not lift anything, you do not stack it on the nature strip, and you do not spend a Saturday doing trailer runs to the transfer station.

What we take

Green waste is the bulk of it: grass clippings, hedge and tree prunings, leaves, weeds, old turf and garden bed clear-outs. Alongside that we take general household and yard junk — old fence palings and timber, broken outdoor furniture, cardboard and packaging, garage and shed clear-outs, and the odds and ends left behind after a tenant moves out.

What we do not take is anything hazardous: asbestos, paint, chemicals, gas bottles, tyres, batteries or liquids. If you are unsure about something, send a photo when you call and we will tell you straight away.

Booked with the mowing, or on its own

Most green waste removal happens as part of a job we are already doing — the clippings from a mow, the branches from a hedge trim, the whole yard after an end-of-lease clean-up. That costs less, because there is no second trip. But we take standalone loads too, and that is often what people want after a renovation, a big garden clear-out or a house clearance.

One thing worth saying plainly: if what you actually want is the free council hard waste collection, book that with Frankston City Council rather than paying us. We are for the jobs where you want it gone now, gone properly, and without doing the lifting.
